Chief Growth Officer

Reports to: Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Skyral

We Are Skyral

Skyral combines AI, advanced modelling and simulation technology, and deep domain expertise to help organisations make faster, more confident decisions in complex environments.

We work with government, defence and enterprise customers to solve difficult real-world problems, combining innovative technology with the pace and ambition of a growth-stage company.

The Opportunity

Skyral is entering its next phase of growth and we are looking for an exceptional commercial leader to build and lead our Business Development organisation.

As Chief Growth Officer, you will own Skyral's business development strategy across government, defence and enterprise. You will be responsible for building a strong and predictable pipeline, leading and developing our Business Development team, and ensuring we have the focus and commercial discipline required to deliver our growth ambitions.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Alongside leading the team, you will remain closely involved in our most important customers and opportunities - building relationships, shaping deals, supporting negotiations and helping the team to win.

You will work in lockstep with the CO-CEO and wider executive team to execute Skyral's go-to-market strategy and ensure our commercial priorities are aligned with our product, technology and delivery strategy.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead Skyral's Growth Strategy

  • Define and execute Skyral's growth and go-to-market strategy across government, defence and enterprise.
  • Translate company strategy into clear commercial priorities, target accounts and growth plans.
  • Build a balanced portfolio of near-term opportunities and longer-term strategic growth plays.
  • Identify new customers, markets, partnerships and routes to market.
  • Ensure the business focuses its time and resources on the opportunities with the greatest strategic and commercial value.

Lead the Team and Growth Performance

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of senior Business Development professionals.
  • Set clear objectives, accountabilities and performance expectations, while actively supporting the team on customer strategy, opportunity development and deal execution.
  • Own the company-wide sales pipeline, ensuring it provides an accurate and evidence-based view of our commercial position.
  • Establish strong discipline around qualification, CRM management, forecasting and opportunity progression.
  • Run an effective growth cadence, using data to identify risks, unblock opportunities and drive action.
  • Provide the Co-CEO with clear insight into forecast performance, pipeline health, risks and opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
