Role Overview
Our client is an iconic, culture-defining lifestyle brand with a global footprint, a passionate community, and a bold vision for its next era of growth. We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead a 200-person global marketing organization, steward the brand’s creative and commercial evolution, and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.
This is a rare opportunity to shape one of the world’s most recognizable lifestyle brands and architect a modern, high-performance marketing engine that blends creativity, cultural relevance, and data-driven scale.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership & Cultural Strategy
- Define and evolve the brand’s global identity, positioning, and long-term narrative
- Lead breakthrough brand campaigns that deepen emotional connection and expand cultural relevance
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints — retail, digital, product, partnerships, and experiential
Global Marketing Organization Leadership
- Oversee a 200-person global marketing team across multiple markets and disciplines
- Directly manage 10 senior leaders spanning Brand, Creative, Digital, Performance, Retail Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Consumer Insights, Community, and Content
- Build a high-performance, collaborative, and creatively ambitious marketing culture
- Develop organizational structures, operating rhythms, and talent strategies that support scale and innovation

Creative & Content Excellence
- Partner closely with Creative, Product, and Design to deliver world-class storytelling
- Oversee global content strategy, production, and distribution across all channels
- Champion creative excellence while ensuring commercial alignment and measurable impact
Digital, Growth & Performance Marketing
- Lead global digital strategy across e-commerce, paid media, CRM, lifecycle, and emerging platforms
- Drive data-driven growth strategies that accelerate acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
- Build modern marketing capabilities including personalization, experimentation, and advanced analytics
Retail, Experiential & Community
- Oversee retail marketing strategies that elevate in-store experience and drive traffic and conversion
- Lead experiential activations, pop-ups, and cultural moments that reinforce brand identity
- Grow and nurture global community programs, ambassadors, and influencer ecosystems
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify and negotiate high-impact partnerships across fashion, design, entertainment, sports, and culture
- Build collaborations that expand brand reach and reinforce cultural relevance

Executive Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a key member of the executive team, advising the CEO and board on brand strategy, market expansion, and consumer trends
- Partner with Product, Creative, Commercial, Retail, and International teams to align brand and business priorities
- Own global marketing budget, forecasting, and performance management
Qualifications
- 18+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within lifestyle, fashion, beauty, consumer goods, or culture-driven brands
- Proven success leading large, global marketing organizations (100+ employees)
- Experience managing 10+ senior leaders across diverse marketing disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to build iconic, emotionally resonant brands at global scale
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, brand storytelling, cultural strategy, and community-driven growth
- Strong creative instincts paired with analytical rigor and operational excellence
- Experience operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environments
- Based in London or New York, or open to relocation
