About PFM

Prop Firm Match Global FZCO is a leading platform for discovering, comparing, and selecting top proprietary trading firms. We provide traders with tools and features to easily compare challenge details, read verified reviews, see accurate payout data, and much more. We're a fast-moving, fully remote team with members from all around the world caring deeply about the quality of what we build. Our culture values ownership, clear communication, and practical impact over fluff. Whether you're a trader, technologist, marketer, or operator - your work here shapes how thousands of users find and trust prop firms.

About the department

Marketing at PFM spans four pillars - Brand & Comms, Growth, Owned Media, and Community & Partnerships. It owns how PFM shows up across web, social, paid, owned media, and community, and is the engine behind audience growth and brand reputation in the prop trading industry. Our current priority is bringing senior leadership into a function that has strong ICs but needs unified ownership, commercial discipline, and a multi-channel strategy aligned to PFM's scaling journey.

About the role

Bring senior marketing leadership to PFM, taking the function from a scattered set of channels into a unified, company-wide engine that drives brand, demand, and audience growth. Own PFM's voice in market, build out the senior marketing leadership layer, and put in place the attribution and measurement discipline the function needs to scale.

Performance objectives

Objective 1 - Own PFM's brand globally and lead the voice in market

  • Outcome: PFM is the most trusted brand in prop trading. Positioned, communicated, and represented consistently across every customer surface. The company shapes the conversation in the industry rather than reacting to it.
  • Typical tasks:
    • Own brand positioning, voice, and visual identity.
    • Lead PR, thought leadership, events (including Prop Firm Expo), and community presence.
    • Manage reputation across every customer surface.
    • Build PFM's senior network in the prop trading industry.

Objective 2 - Build and scale the demand engine with efficiency discipline

  • Outcome: Audience growth, acquisition, lifecycle, and retention scaling across web, social, paid, owned media, and community. CAC and payback targets met or beaten across all surfaces.
  • Typical tasks:
    • Own growth across all channels.
    • Set and defend CAC and payback targets.
    • Hold the line on channel ROI.
    • Run experimentation and budget reallocation cycles.

Objective 3 - Lead and structure the full marketing team

  • Outcome: Four pillars fully staffed (Brand & Comms, Growth, Owned Media, Community & Partnerships). Senior leadership gaps closed (GTM, PR, Growth Leads). Existing team coached and developed.
  • Typical tasks:
    • Build out the four marketing pillars.
    • Hire GTM Lead, PR Lead, Growth Lead.
    • Develop and coach existing team members.
    • Set the operating cadence for the marketing function.

Objective 4 - Drive measurable ROI on marketing spend

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we look for

Must have

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership (CMO, VP Marketing, or Head of Marketing in a high-growth company).
  • Multi-channel fluency across brand, performance, and lifecycle - not a single-channel specialist.
  • Strong commercial and analytical thinking - comfortable holding CAC, payback, and channel ROI targets.
  • Team building experience - has recruited, structured, and developed a marketing function end-to-end.
  • Audience-network fluency across social and creator platforms - PFM's reach is built natively on these surfaces, not on traditional broadcast.
  • Comfortable with modern marketing tech, attribution tools, and AI / automation.
  • Predominantly B2C marketing experience with comfort across B2B partnership marketing as a secondary skill.
  • Track record of scaling marketing in a scale-up environment.
  • Excellent async written communication - we are remote-first.

Nice to have

  • Fintech, trading, crypto, or adjacent consumer finance background.
  • SEO depth (PFM's strongest current channel).
  • International market expansion playbooks.
  • AI / automation enablement of marketing workflows.
  • Prior experience structuring senior marketing leadership layers from scratch.

Compensation

  • $15,000–$25,000 / month gross (Global baseline).
  • Performance-linked variable compensation and equity participation on top of base.

Reporting cadence

  • Reports to: CEO.
  • Direct reports: Existing and to-be-hired if applicable Marketing team.
  • Key cross-functional partners: C-level, Product, Insights / Analytics, Creative.
  • Upward reporting cadence: Weekly 1:1 with CEO; weekly SLT marketing readout; cross-functional sync with CRO weekly on demand engine + commercial alignment.

Location & work setup

  • Remote-first.
  • EU/UK timezone strongly preferred. MENA acceptable with strong overlap (4+ hours of overlap with CET hours, working from ~12 CET onwards).
  • Working hours: Flexible, with reasonable overlap with CET hours (4+ hours of overlap).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Occasional travel to Dubai HQ for in-person leadership meetings, partner events, and Prop Firm Expo.

Hiring stages

We keep our process simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. Here's what to expect:

  • Application screening: We carefully review all applications to identify candidates whose background aligns with the role's requirements. You'll receive a timely and transparent update on your application status.
  • Video intro + role fit questionnaire: A short async step, no scheduling required. You'll record a brief video introduction and complete a written questionnaire. This helps us understand who you are, your relevant background, and how your experience aligns with the role without either side committing to a live call upfront.
  • Discovery HR Interview: A conversation with our Head of HR focused on company and culture match. We'll walk you through how PFM works, what remote leadership looks like in practice, and what success in this role looks like. You'll have plenty of space to ask questions and share your goals.
  • Real-world task (paid): A scoped strategic exercise based on a real PFM marketing challenge such as channel strategy, brand positioning, or demand-engine design. We compensate for your time because we believe that's the right way to do it. This stage is designed to give both sides a realistic view of the work before committing further.
  • Functional interview with the Head of Growth: A broader conversation with our Head of Growth, on multi-channel marketing fluency, attribution, integrating brand with growth, and how you operate across the full marketing stack.
  • Professional interview with the CEO: You'll meet our CEO to focus on your commercial leadership: how you've scaled prior brand and demand engines, owned marketing as a revenue driver, and translated vision into execution across the full marketing stack. This is the decisive conversation on domain skills and role-specific experience.
  • Peer & values conversation: A conversation with a peer from across the team focused on values, culture, and how you work best. You'll have plenty of space to ask questions and get a real feel for life at PFM.
  • Leadership interview: A closing conversation with PFM's leadership team on strategic alignment, ownership mindset, and long-term fit at the C-suite table.
