Job Description Summary
The Chief Marketing Officer will lead global marketing for the MI and Theranostics portfolio.
This is both a business leadership role and a creative leadership role. The CMO will work closely with the Product Modality Leader and regional commercial teams to define where the business will grow, how the portfolio will win and how the portfolio will show up in the market.

Key Responsibilities
The role has five core responsibilities.

Shape the Growth Strategy
- Help define and implement the global growth strategy for business.
- This includes identifying the biggest growth opportunities, understanding customers and competitors, and helping the business make clear choices about where to invest, differentiate and prioritize.

Build the Portfolio Story
- Create a clear and compelling story for the business.
- Translate complex technology, clinical evidence and product roadmaps into simple, memorable stories.
- Ensure major launches have a strong creative idea and that individual product stories connect to a broader portfolio narrative.

Drive Commercial Results
- Turn marketing strategy into business performance.
- Lead the marketing approach for new product launches, pricing, installed-base growth and customer activation.
- Partner with regional and commercial teams to increase awareness, preference, adoption, market share, orders and revenue.

Connect Global and Regional Teams
- Ensure global strategy works in local markets.
- Create clear alignment across product, marketing and commercial teams, while giving regions the flexibility to adapt execution to customer and market needs.

Lead the Marketing Team
- Lead and develop a global marketing and product management team.
- Set clear priorities, build strong talent and create a culture that is customer-focused, creative, accountable and commercially minded.

The Leader We Are Looking For
We are looking for a global marketing leader with strong business judgment, commercial experience and creative instinct.
The successful candidate will know how to turn customer insight into growth strategy, translate complex technology into compelling stories and work across a global organization to deliver results.
They will also be comfortable leading teams, influencing senior leaders, making trade-offs and operating in a complex matrix.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Bioengineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ten or more years of marketing experience, including product marketing
- Experience leading global teams
- Experience in product launches, commercialization, pricing or portfolio strategy
- Healthcare or medical technology experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Experience in Imaging, Radiology, Theranostics, Molecular Imaging or adjacent healthcare technology markets
- Product management, sales or regional marketing experience
- Experience developing portfolio, launch or brand campaigns
- Experience leading creative teams, agencies or integrated marketing programs
- Strong understanding of segmentation, positioning, pricing and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to lead change and work effectively across a matrixed organization

The leader will also be responsible for maintaining high standards for patient safety, customer satisfaction, quality and compliance, including appropriate review and approval of external marketing communications.

Compensation and Benefits
We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $208,000.00-$312,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
