The Opportunity

Our client is a rapidly growing B2C international group with a portfolio across multiple global markets. With an ambitious vision, the organisation is now seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer to lead its global marketing and communications strategy.

This is a highly influential Group-level position for a commercially minded, digitally fluent marketing leader who can combine brand, creative, performance marketing, communications and growth. You will shape the global Group marketing agenda while working closely with senior executives and marketing leaders across individual markets.

The Role

As Chief Marketing Officer, you will define and deliver the overarching marketing and brand strategy, ensuring a strong and consistent global proposition while allowing individual markets to adapt to local audiences.

You will lead a global marketing and communications function and act as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, supporting growth, customer acquisition, market expansion, and reputation.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a group-wide brand and marketing strategy across a diverse international portfolio.
  • Partner with individual brands to translate group strategy into customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Lead digital, performance marketing, creative, and marketing operations across the group.
  • Drive exceptional brand storytelling and creative output across multiple channels and markets.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a large, international, and culturally diverse marketing team.

  • Lead communications and reputation management during complex or high-profile situations.
  • Champion marketing innovation, data-led decision making, and continuous optimisation.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on growth opportunities, market entry, and new programme launches.
  • Build strong relationships across internal-facing teams.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, media, external partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Own significant marketing budgets, ensuring strong ROI and commercial accountability.
  • Use customer, market, and campaign data to identify opportunities and optimise performance.
  • Develop talent, succession planning, and capability across the wider marketing and communications function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
