The Future of Healthcare
As healthcare shifts its focus towards prevention, neighbourhood health, reducing inequalities and supporting people to live well at home, community services have never been more important.
About Sirona Care & Health
Sirona care & health is a major provider of NHS community healthcare delivering services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and supporting almost one million people. We have made significant progress in recent years and continue our improvement journey with ambition, pace and purpose, focused on delivering outstanding care, strengthening our culture and becoming the provider of choice for our communities, partners and staff.
We are now seeking an exceptional leader to join our Board as Chief Nursing and Allied Health Officer.
Role Overview
This is a rare opportunity to lead both Nursing and Allied Health Professionals at executive level within a large, complex Community Interest Company (CIC). As a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide professional leadership across our nursing and AHP workforce while holding executive accountability for quality, safety, safeguarding, patient experience and clinical governance across our adults and children’s services.
You will help shape the future of community healthcare at a pivotal time. Working across organisational and system boundaries, you will champion innovation, partnership working and continuous improvement, ensuring that patients and communities remain at the heart of everything we do. You will be a visible and credible leader, inspiring colleagues to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the development of inclusive, high-performing teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
