Chief of Staff
Build the Operating System Behind One of the World's Most Ambitious AI Companies
Location: London (Preferred), Dubai or San Francisco
Reports to: Founder & CEO
About Smart Bricks
Smart Bricks is building the intelligence layer for the world's physical economy. Every year, trillions of dollars are invested across real estate, infrastructure, energy and other real assets using fragmented systems, disconnected data and institutional knowledge trapped inside spreadsheets, PDFs and people's heads.
We're changing that. We're building an AI-native platform that enables investors, developers, governments and Fortune 500 companies to make faster, better and more explainable decisions across the entire lifecycle of physical assets—from sourcing and underwriting to due diligence, portfolio management and capital allocation.
Alongside our institutional platform, we're building a world-class Applied AI Lab that partners with leading global organisations to redesign how work gets done in the age of AI.
Our ambition isn't simply to build another software company. We're building a company designed to define how AI transforms one of the world's largest industries.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Chief of Staff to build the operating system of the company.
This isn't an Executive Assistant role.
This isn't a project management role.
This isn't an internal strategy consulting role.
This is one of the highest-leverage positions in the company.
You'll work directly with the Founder & CEO and the executive leadership team to ensure Smart Bricks operates with exceptional speed, alignment and discipline.
You'll build the systems, processes and rhythms that allow the company to scale without bureaucracy.
You'll help recruit world-class leaders.
You'll drive our most important strategic initiatives.
You'll solve whatever problem matters most that week.
If something is slowing the company down, it's your responsibility to fix it.
Your Mission
Build the operating system that enables Smart Bricks to execute faster than companies ten times our size.
Your job is simple to describe:
Increase the output of every leader in the company.
You will create leverage across the organisation by improving communication, execution, planning and decision making.
You'll ensure great ideas become reality.
What You'll Build
- Build the Company's Operating System
Design how Smart Bricks operates.
Establish:- Company planning cycles
- Quarterly OKRs
- Leadership operating cadence
- Executive meetings
- Business reviews
- Decision-making frameworks
- Internal communications

Remove unnecessary complexity.
Help teams focus on what matters most.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
