The company
Our client is a fast-growing AI for Finance company building agentic AI products for banks and private equity firms. Its platform automates the high-value, analyst-heavy work behind deals, investment decisions and client coverage.
The business is backed by one of Europe's leading venture capital firms and is scaling quickly across London, Europe and the US. It sells to some of the most demanding buyers in financial services, and its team combines senior finance practitioners with top-tier AI engineers.

The role
The Chief of Staff reports directly to the CEO and acts as their right hand across strategy, operations and execution. You will turn the CEO's priorities into plans, drive them across the leadership team, and make sure the company delivers on them.
This is a generalist, high-trust role with broad exposure to investors, customers and every function. It suits someone who wants a path into senior operating leadership at a category-defining AI company.

Location: London, hybrid (typically 4 days in office)

Strategy and planning
- Own the company operating rhythm: annual and quarterly planning, OKRs, leadership meetings and board cadence
- Lead strategic projects for the CEO, such as market entry, pricing, new product lines and build-vs-buy decisions
- Build the analysis behind major decisions and present clear recommendations
Investors and board
- Prepare board packs, investor updates and KPI reporting
- Support fundraising: data room, financial narrative, investor materials and diligence
Commercial and go-to-market
- Work with GTM leaders on enterprise deals with banks and PE firms, including pricing, proposals and executive meetings
- Bring a buyer's view of how investment banks, private capital firms and their deal teams operate
Execution and operations
- Drive cross-functional initiatives from scoping to delivery, holding teams to deadlines
- Act as the CEO's proxy in meetings, following up and closing the loop on decisions
- Spot operational gaps as the company scales and fix them: processes, tooling, reporting and hiring plans
- Take on high-priority special projects as they arise
About you
Essential
- 3-7 years' experience, ideally starting in investment banking, private capital (PE, growth equity, private credit) or MBB consulting
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to structure messy problems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with board members, investors and senior bank or fund clients
- High ownership and pace: you get things done without being chased
- Sound judgement and discretion with confidential information
- Genuine interest in AI and how it will change financial services

A real bonus
- Founder experience, or time at an early-stage startup where you built things from scratch
- Exposure to enterprise sales or product in fintech or B2B SaaS
- Direct experience of the workflows our client automates, such as deal execution, due diligence or portfolio monitoring
