About Hyperlayer

Hyperlayer is the intelligent banking platform built for the agentic economy: the financial control layer that sits above banks' existing cores, enabling next-generation Smart Accounts, without ripping anything out. From a single integration, we give financial institutions a secure rules and orchestration engine that lets them design, launch and scale hyper-personalized products in weeks while preserving stability, compliance and control. And there's nothing like us anywhere in the world.

Hyperlayer works with Tier 1 and Tier 2 FIs across the UK, US, EMEA and Hong Kong, with an award-winning UK consumer app (HyperJar) sitting in the group. We're creating the fintech category that every bank in the world needs: programmable, governed, agent-ready accounts. Your job is to make sure our audiences know that.

About The Role

As Chief of Staff Associate, you'll work closely with our Chief of Staff and have high exposure to our COO and CEO, helping to keep Hyperlayer's most important corporate projects moving. You'll support everything from funding rounds and setting up our entities abroad to corporate governance, investor relations, legal operations and audits, while bringing structure and efficiency to how the business runs day to day. It's a varied, high-visibility role that offers a rare view of how a scaling fintech is run from the top, and as Hyperlayer grows there's real scope to take on greater ownership of projects and help shape how the Chief of Staff function evolves.

This is an office-based role, with regular in-person collaboration in the office.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic corporate projects: Support the Chief of Staff on major strategic initiatives, including funding rounds and the establishment of our US entity, coordinating workstreams, tracking progress and keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Corporate governance: Help manage board and shareholder processes, including preparing board materials, maintaining statutory records and registers, and making sure governance requirements are met on time.
  • Investor relations support: Act as a point of contact for investor data requests and administrative requirements, preparing accurate information and keeping our data room organised and up to date.
  • Legal operations: Bring dedicated focus and structure to legal admin: managing the contract lifecycle, maintaining a central contract repository, tracking key dates and renewals, and coordinating with in-house counsel.
  • Audits and client due diligence: Coordinate the company's response to audits and client due diligence requests, gathering documentation from across the business, managing timelines and making sure responses are accurate and complete. This work is periodic but substantial, so you'll be comfortable reprioritising when a large request lands.
  • Internal communications: Plan and draft internal communications, such as company updates, all-hands materials and leadership announcements, helping keep everyone informed and connected.
  • Operational efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve how we work, then design and roll out better processes, tools and documentation.
  • Ad hoc projects: Take on a variety of projects as business needs evolve, working with teams across the company.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
