Chief of Staff - Fin-Tech

City of London

Hybrid (3 Days)

£60,000 - £80,000 (DoE)

Are you an ambitious, strategic Executive Assistant, Business Manager or aspiring Chief of Staff looking to move beyond traditional support and become a genuine strategic partner to a founder?

A high-growth, founder-led fintech is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside its CEO, helping to drive efficiency, create structure and support the next phase of growth. Having scaled to over 600 across multiple international offices, the business is entering an exciting new chapter, expanding its product offering and continuing its impressive growth trajectory. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of operations, strategy and executive partnership, gaining exposure to board-level decision-making, investor activity and company-wide initiatives.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position. You'll become a trusted extension of the CEO, helping them focus on what matters most whilst bringing structure, prioritisation and strategic support across the business. You'll have visibility across leadership, operations, investors and key business projects, making this an exceptional stepping stone for someone looking to build a long-term Chief of Staff career.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO
  • Manage priorities, workflow and executive effectiveness
  • Prepare board packs, presentations and leadership materials
  • Coordinate investor meetings and communications
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Identify and solve business bottlenecks
  • Support leadership meetings, off-sites and company events
  • Track key projects and organisational priorities
  • Utilise AI tools and automation to improve ways of working
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
