Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff Execution Lead to work directly with the Chief of Staff on the highest priority initiatives across the business. This is an execution role. You will be handed special projects that sit outside the day-to-day remit of any single department and be expected to drive them to completion.
Where operations own the company's operating rhythm, cadences, and data frameworks, this role is different. You are the person the Chief of Staff deploys onto specific problems: unblocking stalled initiatives, chasing actions to closure, and building the tools and processes that make the whole company move faster. You will collaborate closely with the Business Operations Manager and teams across Dexory, but your remit is defined project by project rather than by a standing operational portfolio.
This role suits someone relentless. Someone who gets things done, does not take no for an answer, and is comfortable holding people senior to them to account with professionalism and tact.
Ideal focus would be someone with experience in roles such as founders associate, operations, or similar, and a technical academic background such as a degree in computer science or similar.
Responsibilities
- Special Projects: Take ownership of discrete, high priority internal projects assigned by the Chief of Staff, from scoping through to delivery and handover.
- Initiative Support: Support company initiatives by coordinating contributors, chasing inputs, and ensuring the right people deliver the right things at the right time.
- Accountability Enforcement: Track actions, owners, and deadlines across leadership forums and follow up persistently until items are closed. Escalate blockers early and with evidence.
- Driving Outcomes: Move initiatives from discussion to decision to delivery. Propose solutions rather than reporting problems.
- Efficiency Implementation: Identify friction in how the company operates and implement practical fixes, from process changes to tooling improvements.
- Centre of Excellence: Help establish a centre of excellence for efficiency and speed, codifying best practice on how Dexory plans, executes, and delivers so it can be reused across teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Operations Manager and department leads so that project work lands cleanly alongside existing operating cadences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Success Measures
- On-Time Delivery: Assigned projects and initiatives are delivered and executed on time, with slippage flagged and recovered early.
- Action Closure: Actions from leadership forums are closed within agreed deadlines, with a measurable reduction in overdue items.
- Efficiency Gains: Demonstrable improvements in speed or cost from implemented process changes.
- Stakeholder Confidence: The Chief of Staff and executive team trust that anything handed to this role will get done without being chased.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in a high-pace environment
- A track record of delivering projects end to end, including examples of pushing work over the line against resistance.
- Strong tooling and automation capability. Comfortable identifying inefficiencies and solving them quickly with practical solutions, whether that is process automation, workflow tools, or building something yourself, such as a tracker in Excel, from scratch.
- Hands-on with modern productivity and AI tools, and quick to learn new ones. You default to building a solution today rather than requesting one for next quarter.
- Exceptional organisation and follow-through. Nothing you own falls through the cracks.
- Confident, direct communication with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Resilience and persistence. You chase, you follow up, and you do not accept vague commitments.
- Strong judgement on when to push, when to escalate, and when to solve it yourself.
