Interim Chief of Staff / Operations Director (9-Month Contract)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid) with quarterly travel to Massachusetts, USA

We are seeking an exceptional operator to join a fast-growing technology business during a key phase of international growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the US business, acting as the key link between UK leadership and the Beverly, Massachusetts office. You will bring structure, governance and execution discipline to strategic initiatives, ensuring priorities are aligned, risks are identified early and teams remain focused on delivery.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced Chief of Staff, Operations Director or Strategy & Operations leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and can operate effectively across international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO to drive execution of strategic priorities across the US business.
  • Provide operational oversight and support for the Beverly, Massachusetts office.
  • Lead cross-functional programmes, ensuring milestones, dependencies and outcomes are delivered.
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance frameworks and executive reporting processes.
  • Provide visibility on progress, risks and business priorities.
  • Coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Operations and wider business functions.
  • Act as the operational bridge between UK headquarters and US teams.
  • Support executive updates, Board reporting and quarterly leadership meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a global organisation.
  • Identify blockers and drive solutions to maintain momentum.

About You:

You are an experienced operator with a track record of working alongside CEOs, founders and senior leadership teams within technology, SaaS or high-growth environments.
