Chief of Staff | Right Hand to the CEO | Ex-MBB, IB or High-Growth Startup | Onsite London | AI Scale-Up

Package: £115,000 - £165,000 + meaningful equity
Working model: Onsite 5 days p/w in Central London
Travel: 25-40% to client sites full expensed
Eligibility: UK work authorisation required

Required:

  • 4+ years MBB / IB / high-growth startup strategy and ops, must have startup experience (Non-Negotiable)

🚨 Non-Negotiables - please only apply if you have ALL of the following 🚨

  • 4+ years in management consulting (MBB), investment banking (elite boutique or bulge bracket), or strategy and operations at a high-growth startup
  • Must have startup experience - comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and high autonomy
  • A clear track record of rapid promotion and accelerated career growth
  • Top-of-peer-group performance - strong academics, fast progression, or provably impressive achievements
  • Strong analytical skills - able to dive deep into financial and operational data to drive decisions
  • Senior enough to represent the CEO in high-stakes rooms - investor updates, major client meetings
  • Able to work onsite 5 days a week in Central London and travel 25-40% to client sites

Role Overview

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on the most important problems bottlenecking the business. This is a backfill for the current Chief of Staff, who is being promoted internally - a real signal of the trajectory this seat offers. High ownership, high autonomy, high visibility. You'll sit at the centre of the company and move fast on whatever matters most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and solve the highest-priority bottleneck facing the company at any given time, from unblocking large enterprise deals to optimising how engineering effort is allocated
  • Build metrics and reporting across every team so the business becomes sharper and more data-driven as it scales
  • Own and improve hiring - reduce time-to-hire, attract top talent, and partner on headcount planning
  • Build repeatable processes that let the company scale revenue fast
  • Stand in for the CEO in investor updates, senior client meetings, and cross-functional leadership

Nice to Have

  • Ex-founder with meaningful revenue or venture funding behind you
  • Technical or quantitative degree
  • Experience in fast-moving, high-growth environments
