The opportunity
Our client, a leading global business operating across Europe and Asia-Pacific, is looking for an exceptional strategist to join the President as Chief of Staff.
This is a rare opportunity for a consultant, or a former consultant, to move from advising to deciding. You will work side by side with the President at the centre of a complex, multi-country business, with real influence on strategy, performance and the decisions that shape its future.
What you will do
- Partner with the President to shape the business strategy, priorities and annual and multi-year plans
- Lead critical cross-functional and global initiatives on behalf of the President, including large-scale AI and customer transformation programmes
- Bring structure, challenge and insight to strategic decisions and business performance, and ensure that decisions translate into measurable results
- Lead the preparation of Board and Executive Committee meetings, and shape key messages for internal and external audiences, including B2B partners and public bodies
- Run the leadership team's governance and operating rhythm, ensuring focus and accountability across regional and functional leaders
- Lead the President's office, including the executive support team

What you bring
- 8+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (for example McKinsey, BCG or Bain), ideally at Project Leader, Engagement Manager or Principal level or above; or a former consultant now in a strategy, corporate development or Chief of Staff role in industry
- Strong financial and commercial judgement; experience in M&A or corporate development is an advantage
- Exposure to operationally complex sectors such as mobility, automotive, travel, transport or industrials is an advantage
- International experience across multiple markets; additional European languages are a plus
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to build trust with senior leaders
- A high level of discretion and integrity
