Chief of Staff to the UK General Manager

Location: Manchester

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the UK General Manager as a trusted partner in driving the performance and growth of the UK business.

As Chief of Staff, you will operate at the centre of the organisation, turning business priorities into action and ensuring the day-to-day operation runs effectively. You’ll work across every function - from Operations and Commercial to Finance, Product and Customer Success. You will drive execution, remove blockers, improve processes and ensure teams are aligned, accountable and delivering against agreed priorities.

This role is designed for an ambitious professional who has already built a strong problem-solving track record and wants to accelerate their development into senior leadership. You'll gain unparalleled exposure to business strategy, commercial decision-making and executive leadership while owning meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business.

If you're naturally curious, commercially minded and enjoy solving problems with data and people, this is an exceptional opportunity to further accelerate your career.

What You'll Do

Working as the UK General Manager's right-hand partner, you'll:

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, ways of working and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through to delivery, driving business change initiatives that improve performance and efficiency whilst ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and with stakeholder buy-in.
  • Help ensure strategic priorities remain on track by following up actions, removing blockers and maintaining momentum, with coordination with multiple teams.
  • Prepare high-quality business cases and recommendations to support executive decision-making and to drive change.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, influencing stakeholders without direct authority by acting as a connector between teams, ensuring communication and alignment across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
