Chief of Staff – The Drayton London
About The Drayton
We beautifully restore period mansions across London (and Bristol) to create the perfect home for ambitious businesses. Think Georgian grandeur, inspirational design, exceptional hospitality, and a genuine community feel — not another bland serviced office.
We are a small, founder-led, predominantly female team passionate about redefining what flexible office space and a members’ club can be. Our Heads of House deliver a true 5-star concierge experience, and our members stay for the service, the community, and the sense of place.
The Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Founder and senior leadership team as we continue to grow. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and wants real ownership.
You will act as a force multiplier for the leadership team — bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to strategy, operations, and special projects across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Partner closely with the Founder, MD, and COO to drive priorities, track progress, and ensure decisions turn into action

- Occasionally step into operational or member-facing situations when needed (we’re still a lean team)
Who you are
- Highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
