About the Role

Chief Operating Officer (COO) Hybrid – predominantly remote, with regular travel to offices within East Midlands. Salary: £100k package, inclusive of bonus. Full Time, Permanent.

You will act as a key adviser to the CEO and provide visible leadership across the business, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to getting things done. Please Note: Experience within SaaS / HR Tech is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Take overall responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the business.
  • Establish clear operational priorities, performance measures and accountability across functions.
  • Oversee service delivery, resourcing, financial performance and client operations.
  • Develop an effective management rhythm covering business reviews, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Deputise for the CEO when required and provide informed challenge and support on key business decisions.

Commercial Growth

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins and strengthen client retention.
  • Support the development and launch of new services and propositions.
  • Develop relationships with strategic technology and service partners to broaden the company's offering and create new commercial opportunities.
  • Strengthen the company's market position, reputation and visibility.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
