Our client is a fast-growing, international B2B SaaS business operating within a specialist technology market undergoing significant growth. Following strong commercial success and international expansion, the organisation is entering its next phase of growth, supporting enterprise customers across multiple global geographies including the UK, North America and Australasia.
Job Description
As Chief Operating Officer, the role involves:
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute the company's long-term growth strategy.
- Build and scale operational frameworks that support sustained growth and organisational maturity.
- Lead and develop customer-facing functions including Customer Success, Professional Services, Service Delivery and Support.
- Ensure successful onboarding, implementation and adoption of the platform across a growing international customer base.
- Establish operational KPIs, governance structures and reporting mechanisms to drive performance and accountability.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement and operational discipline.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer teams.
- Improve forecasting, planning, resource management and operational efficiency across the business.
- Maintain oversight of operational risk, compliance and security-related initiatives.
- Act as a senior point of contact for strategic customers and executive stakeholders.
- Support commercial initiatives including customer retention, expansion and long-term revenue growth.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Chief Operating Officer should have successfully led customer-facing functions within a high-growth software environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Leadership experience within a B2B IT SaaS organisation.
- Significant experience leading Customer Success, Professional Services, Delivery or Operations functions.
- Experience within automotive technology, mobility technology, field-service software.
- A track record of scaling operational teams and supporting international growth, with specific experience managing enterprise customers in US and Australia.
- Experience managing enterprise customer relationships and complex software implementations.
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of recurring revenue business models.
- Experience building and improving operational processes, governance and performance management frameworks.
- The ability to partner effectively with Product, Technology, Sales and Finance teams.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused leadership style.
