Chief Operating Officer

We are working with a fast-growing, vertically integrated operating platform within the living sector to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. This is a genuinely broad, hands-on operational leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, and working closely with the founder shareholders, you'll take ownership of operations across a multi-site portfolio, spanning several core business functions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning day-to-day operations across a multi-site, asset-heavy portfolio
  • Driving cost discipline and efficiency programmes tied directly to asset performance
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs across all business functions
  • Leading compliance, risk management, and governance standards across every site
  • Unifying previously siloed functions under a single operational structure
  • Building and developing internal talent, with a strong focus on succession planning
  • Reporting directly to the CEO and Board on performance, risk, and strategic opportunity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
