Founded in 1595, Wellingborough School is a thriving co-educational day school educating pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form on a 45-acre campus in Northamptonshire. The School is recognised for its strong academic outcomes, outstanding pastoral care, extensive co-curricular provision and ambitious programme of investment, including the development of its new Gateway building and long-term estate strategy.
As the School enters an exciting new phase of development, Wellingborough seeks an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to join its Executive Leadership Group and Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Headmaster and working closely with Governors, the COO will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the School's strategic, financial, operational and commercial objectives. Leading a diverse professional services division of approximately 120 colleagues, the COO will oversee finance, estates, operations, commercial activity, governance, cyber security and organisational resilience, ensuring the School remains financially sustainable, operationally excellent and well positioned for future growth.
