Role Description
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a remote role focused on supporting operational excellence across Lucerno. In this role, you'll assist in overseeing day-to-day business operations, helping to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support cross-functional collaboration.

Key tasks include:
- Contributing to business planning initiatives
- Assisting with operational performance tracking
- Coordinating with advisory and research teams
- Supporting the implementation of internal policies and workflows
- Helping with budgeting and financial monitoring activities
- Preparing operational reports and dashboards
- Participating in strategic discussions on resource allocation and organisational growth

Qualifications
- Strong operations management and business planning skills, with the ability to support process improvement and organisational efficiency
- Solid analytical skills to interpret data, assess operational performance, and support evidence-based decision-making
- Foundational knowledge of finance and budgeting to assist with financial tracking, cost control, and resource allocation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to senior stakeholders
- High level of organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online project platforms)
- Relevant academic background in business, management, economics, finance, or a related field; prior internship or project experience in operations or strategy is beneficial
