Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operational leadership of Aspire Academy Trust. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will lead and oversee the Trust's core business functions, ensuring that systems, processes and resources support the delivery of outstanding education across all academies within the Trust.

The COO will be accountable for the development, delivery and quality of the Trust’s non-educational functions and services, including Estates, Health & Safety, and operations.

The COO will play a key role in the Trust's strategic development, leading organisational change, supporting growth opportunities and ensuring that resources are deployed effectively to maximise educational outcomes for pupils.

You will also be supported by our experienced trust board and will work in partnership with our Directors, Regional Leads, Heads of School, and the Diocese, to develop our trust and ensure that both the MAT as a whole and its individual schools consistently achieve excellent educational outcomes for all pupils.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
