Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, full time

Contract: Permanent

All about the role:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operational leadership of Aspire Academy Trust. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will lead and oversee the Trust's core business functions, ensuring that systems, processes and resources support the delivery of outstanding education across all academies within the Trust.

The COO will be accountable for the development, delivery and quality of the Trust’s non-educational functions and services, including Estates, Health & Safety, and operations.

The COO will play a key role in the Trust's strategic development, leading organisational change, supporting growth opportunities and ensuring that resources are deployed effectively to maximise educational outcomes for pupils.

You will also be supported by our experienced trust board and will work in partnership with our Directors, Regional Leads, Heads of School, and the Diocese, to develop our trust and ensure that both the MAT as a whole and its individual schools consistently achieve excellent educational outcomes for all pupils.
