The Chief Paid Social Lead – Tech SaaS Agency

This is a full-time hybrid role in London.

Responsibilities

The role involves leading paid social strategy and execution for SaaS clients across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and other emerging channels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and optimizing campaigns
  • Overseeing audience targeting
  • Creative testing
  • Budget management to drive acquisition, retention, and brand growth

The Chief Paid Social Lead will:

  • Collaborate closely with account management, performance marketing, and creative teams
  • Present results, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Implement best practices
  • Contribute to new business pitches and agency-wide innovation in paid social

  • Leadership and collaboration skills, including Team Management and Training, with the ability to mentor and develop paid social specialists.
  • Strong organisational capabilities, including Project Management, to oversee multiple client accounts, deadlines, and campaign workflows.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including Troubleshooting and Research, to diagnose performance issues and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Proven experience in managing paid social campaigns for B2B or B2C SaaS products across major social platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Advanced proficiency with paid social tools, ad managers, analytics platforms, and tracking solutions (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4, pixels, and UTMs).
  • Experience in a digital agency or performance marketing environment; prior responsibility for large budgets and revenue targets is highly beneficial.
