About The Brandtech Group
The Brandtech Group is a marketing and technology holding company operating across roughly 7,000 people in around 45 markets. Its portfolio of business units – including Oliver, Jellyfish, Pencil, Collectively, Gravity Road, fifty-five, Mobkoi, Acorn-i, DP6 and Brandtech Consulting – spans creative, media, data and AI-powered marketing services. The Group is scaling quickly through organic growth and acquisition, which places a premium on disciplined, well-governed procurement as the business integrates new entities and suppliers.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic, commercially minded Chief Procurement Officer to lead procurement across The Brandtech Group. This is a pivotal leadership role, accountable for creating strategic and commercial value, enabling the Group's growth agenda, and protecting the business from supplier, contractual and third-party risk – not simply driving cost efficiency.
The CPO will build a scalable, group-wide procurement function that delivers commercial value creation, supplier quality and risk resilience across a multi-brand, multi-market holding structure.
The role operates within a federated operating model – influencing procurement decisions across autonomous business units through credibility and commercial insight, rather than direct line authority, while setting Group standards and governance. The function is organised around the Group's largest markets, with dedicated regional Heads of Procurement for the US and UK/EMEA reporting into the CPO, supporting the Group's aim of a lean, coordinated global team rather than a large central function.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop a multi-year procurement transformation roadmap aligned to the Group's growth strategy, including organic growth, M&A and AI-driven transformation • Advise the Executive Leadership Team on commercial, supplier and market risks, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a purely operational function • Shape Group sourcing strategy to support AI, technology and digital transformation initiatives across the portfolio • Benchmark procurement performance against industry best practice, bringing external perspective to the Group's approach • Operate within a federated operating model, influencing procurement decisions across autonomous business units while defining Group standards and governance
Regional Structure & Team Leadership
• Establish and lead a lean, regionally structured procurement function, built around dedicated Heads of Procurement for the Group's largest markets – initially the US and UK/EMEA, with possible extension to France as the Group's footprint requires • Coordinate procurement resources and priorities across regional leads and business-unit-embedded category leads, ensuring consistent standards while allowing each region to reflect local market and business unit needs • Establish and scale a high-performing Group procurement function, and act as the escalation point for regional and category procurement leads embedded in business units • Represent procurement in senior stakeholder forums, including business unit leadership and the Group People and Finance functions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
