Chief Product Officer
Company: Sync Neural Genesis AG
Product focus: AEIR — Wireless Power Transmission
Location: London, UK
Reports to: [CEO]
Type: Full-time, permanent
About Sync Neural
Sync Neural Genesis is building the coordination layer for a new energy economy — moving energy, verifying it, settling it and financing it as one connected system. AEIR, our wireless power transmission technology, is the physical layer of that vision: energy routed without the constraints of legacy grid infrastructure, opening up markets and geographies that traditional transmission cannot economically reach.
AEIR is maturing toward commercial readiness. We are now at the point where the technology has to become a product — designed for manufacture, certified, priced, and sold at scale.
The Role
The Chief Product Officer owns AEIR end to end: from industrial and systems design through to manufacturing readiness and commercial launch. This is a builder's role, not a steward's. You will be accountable for turning a working technology into a shippable, certifiable, manufacturable product line with a credible route to volume revenue — and for building the product organisation that sustains it.
AEIR is the primary mandate and where the majority of your time will be spent. But AEIR does not stand alone: it is the physical layer of a wider stack, and its value is realised only when energy transmitted can also be verified, settled and financed. You will therefore also hold group-level product coordination across Sync Neural's other entities — owning the architecture, standards, interfaces and roadmap sequencing that make the stack coherent rather than a collection of adjacent businesses.
You will sit on the executive team and work in close partnership with the CEO, CTO and Chief Commercial functions. You will own the AEIR product roadmap, the product P&L, and the decisions about what we build, for whom, in what order, and at what cost.
What You'll Own
Product strategy and roadmap
- Define the AEIR product strategy: target segments, use cases, configurations, and the sequencing that gets us from first commercial deployments to volume.
- Own product-market fit decisions — which markets we enter first, what we deliberately don't build, and where the technology's constraints shape the commercial offer.
- Own pricing and product economics in partnership with commercial and finance, including the unit economics underpinning long-term energy supply agreements.
Design and engineering delivery
- Lead and scale internal and external design teams across industrial design, systems engineering, hardware, firmware and software.
- Drive design for manufacture, cost, reliability and serviceability from the earliest stages rather than as a retrofit.
- Hold the line on the trade-offs between performance, safety, cost and schedule — and make the calls when they conflict.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Manufacturing and supply chain
- Work directly with contract manufacturers and production facilities to take AEIR from prototype to pilot production to volume.
- Own NPI: design transfer, tooling, qualification, yield, quality systems and ramp planning.
- Build supply chain resilience for critical long-lead and specialist components, including second-sourcing strategy.
Certification, safety and regulatory
- Own the product's path through the safety, EMC, spectrum and energy-sector regulatory regimes in each launch market.
- Build the evidence base and relationships needed for approvals in a technology category where precedent is limited.
Commercial rollout
- Partner with commercial leadership on go-to-market: launch markets, channel and partner strategy, deployment models, and the customer-facing proposition.
- Own product launch readiness end to end — documentation, training, field support, installation and service models.
- Establish the feedback loop from early deployments back into the roadmap.
Group product coordination
- Act as the connective tissue across Sync Neural's entities, ensuring the verification, settlement and financing layers are designed against a shared architecture and a common set of standards and interfaces — not integrated after the fact.
- Own the technical and commercial interfaces between AEIR and the wider stack: data models, metering and telemetry, contract and settlement logic, and the assumptions each entity makes about the others.
- Sequence roadmaps across entities so that dependencies are visible and deliberate, and so that AEIR deployment milestones and the capabilities they rely on land together.
- Establish shared product standards, review gates and terminology across the group, without imposing a single operating model on businesses at very different stages of maturity.
- Arbitrate competing priorities across entities and escalate cleanly where trade-offs require a CEO or board decision.
- Represent the stack as a single coherent proposition to customers, partners, regulators and investors.
Organisation
- Build, hire and lead the product function: product management, design, product marketing and programme management.
- Establish the operating rhythm, metrics and decision-making standards for how the company builds.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Extensive senior product leadership experience in technology, with a track record of shipping physical products at scale — not software alone.
- Direct, named responsibility for the design and commercial rollout of a product or product family that went on to generate $1bn+ in cumulative sales. We will want to understand precisely what you owned and what the outcome was.
- Deep hands-on experience with hardware development lifecycles: DFM, NPI, contract manufacturing, supply chain and volume ramp.
- Experience taking a genuinely new technology category to market, where the buyer, the regulation and the comparison set all had to be created rather than inherited.
- Experience of the full company journey from early-stage funding through to IPO, with a substantive role in that journey — you understand how product priorities, governance and reporting change at each stage.
- Experience coordinating product across multiple business units, entities or platform layers — setting shared architecture and standards, and driving alignment through influence and credibility rather than direct reporting lines.
- Comfort operating with technical depth alongside world-class engineers and scientists, without being the engineer yourself.
- Executive presence with investors, boards, regulators, institutional stakeholders and enterprise customers.
- Based in or willing to relocate to London, with willingness to travel internationally to production and deployment sites.
Desirable
- Background in deep tech, building products where hardware and software are developed as a single system rather than separate workstreams.
- Experience with infrastructure or long-term contract commercial models rather than transactional unit sales.
- Experience building and integrating an international, distributed engineering and manufacturing base.
- Experience in a capital-intensive, high-regulation sector where certification and approvals sat on the critical path to revenue.
How You'll Work
We are an ambitious, early-stage company solving problems that do not have textbook answers. The right person is energised rather than unsettled by that. You will need to be as comfortable in a production facility resolving a yield problem as you are in a board meeting defending a roadmap. You will be expected to disagree openly, decide quickly, and be accountable for the outcome.
