The Venue
A landmark where heritage meets modern ambition, with seven versatile event spaces under one historic roof, Olympia London is one of the world’s most distinctive event destinations. Since opening in 1886, its iconic Victorian spaces have hosted global conferences, exhibitions and consumer shows at an extraordinary scale.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a unique opportunity to shape and lead the revenue strategy at Olympia and across the wider Legends business.
You’ll bring together Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Communications to unlock new opportunities, accelerate growth and strengthen our market position.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with commercial instinct, turning ambitious ideas into results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching revenue growth strategy, setting annual and multi-year targets and driving profitability and diversification across exhibitions, conferences, events, partnerships and digital offerings, including new concepts, markets and international growth.
- Lead and align Sales, Marketing and Business Development, establishing targets, KPIs, best-in-class processes and forecasting methodologies, while ensuring strong brand positioning and consistent messaging across marketing, PR and stakeholder communications.
- Drive commercial growth through exceptional relationships and customer experiences, building strategic alliances with clients, sponsors, industry associations and media partners, while optimising the entire customer journey from lead generation through to conversion, retention and hospitality delivery.
- Use data, market research and commercial insight to identify opportunities and maximise performance, overseeing plans, budgets and timelines and partnering with Finance and senior leadership on company strategy, budgeting and forecasting to deliver revenue and profit targets and long-term financial viability.
- Provide inspirational leadership to the commercial function, developing a high-performing team and working collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, wider Legends business and Olympia Estate to ensure commercial commitments deliver exceptional guest experiences and align with the wider destination strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
