Sonata One is a rapidly scaling, regulated fund services and technology (fintech) business. We're The Private Funds Clearinghouse, connecting more than 53,000 investors with 6,500 funds and 180 fund managers around the globe. Our vision is to change the paradigm of private markets investing through harmonising the end-to-end investment process within one platform. Investors benefit from a seamless, one & done experience across the fund lifecycle (from fund selection and subscription through to settlement and reporting) underpinned by a globally compliant KYC passport and 24/5 support. Fund managers can raise capital faster at a lower cost from a wider pool of pre-approved investors.
Founded in 2015, Sonata One has a presence in eight locations worldwide including the US, UK and Luxembourg, Guernsey, South Africa and Mauritius.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Chief Revenue Officer to join our global team.
Position Overview
As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will drive revenue growth personally and through active leadership of the commercial function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all revenue-generating activities, including direct and channel sales, client relationship management, and marketing. Your high-energy and collaborative leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory as the trusted hub of the private markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Drive revenue growth through your extensive network, strategic leadership, and a high-performing sales approach.
- Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute the company's revenue strategy, identifying growth opportunities and expanding market share within private markets.
- Commercial Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales and commercial teams, setting clear targets, driving performance, and embedding best-practice sales processes.
- Business Development: Build strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with financial institutions, asset managers, investors, and other key stakeholders to drive new business.
- Client Growth: Oversee client relationship management to maximise retention, deepen client engagement, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform commercial strategy and support product innovation.
- Product & Go-to-Market: Partner with Product, Marketing, and other teams to refine product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies that support revenue growth.
- Commercial Performance: Own revenue forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management, using data and insights to optimise performance and achieve financial targets.
- Executive Leadership: Mentor and develop high-performing teams while collaborating across the executive leadership team to deliver the company's strategic objectives.

Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in revenue leadership roles within the private markets
- An extensive, well-established network across the private markets ecosystem, specifically with the GC/COO/CCO of fund managers with >$5Bn AuM.
- Strong sales acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets in a competitive market environment.
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills, with experience building, leading, and developing high-performing commercial teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with revenue forecasting, financial analysis, and commercial planning.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, driving change, and challenging the status quo.
- Collaborative, team-oriented leader who thrives in small, high-performing teams, partnering cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives. Recognised for building trusted C-suite relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
