Chief Revenue Officer

UK or Ireland | Flexible remote working | Executive leadership position

The opportunity

A specialist enterprise software business serving the global aviation sector is appointing its first Chief Revenue Officer. This newly created position will own commercial strategy, revenue performance, and the development of a scalable commercial function.

The business has an established international customer base, long-standing client relationships, and a strong pipeline. Its next phase will include expanding further within the airline market while strengthening its position with aircraft lessors and asset managers. This role will suit a commercial leader who enjoys shaping strategy, building teams, and remaining close to customers and complex enterprise opportunities.

The role

Reporting to the Managing Director and joining the senior leadership team, the CRO will lead Sales, Account Management, Revenue Operations, and Customer Growth. This is a genuine player-coach role combining executive leadership with direct involvement in priority customers and strategic deals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
