Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be a key member of Numisma Bank's Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for developing and executing the Bank's global revenue growth strategy. The CRO will oversee all revenue-generating functions, including global sales and trading, business development, strategic partnerships, client relationship management, marketing, and commercial operations. This executive leader will drive sustainable growth by deepening relationships with central banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners while identifying new market opportunities and expanding the adoption of Numisma Bank's products and services. Joining the organization during a period of significant growth and market momentum, the CRO will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Bank's commercial strategy, global client experience, and international expansion efforts. This role is ideal for a strategic and commercially minded senior leader who combines visionary leadership with a hands-on approach to building trusted client relationships and delivering exceptional end-to-end client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Global Sales and Trading

  • Develop and execute the Bank's global sales and trading strategy, aligning growth, profitability, risk, client objectives, and market opportunities.
  • Lead global sales, trading, and client coverage teams serving banks, financial institutions, and strategic clients.
  • Grow revenue across FX, banknote trading and distribution, liquidity solutions, and other market-facing offerings while tracking performance metrics for revenue, client growth, wallet share, market penetration, and profitability.
  • Partner with Treasury, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and Product to support execution, scale, risk management, innovation, and a stronger client experience.
  • Build senior relationships across banking, treasury, and financial markets while ensuring sales and trading activities meet regulatory, control, compliance, and industry standards.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue growth strategy that strengthens Numisma Bank's position as a trusted partner to central banks, and major financial institutions.
  • Establish ambitious growth objectives and ensure alignment across all commercial functions to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to drive sustainable growth and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead pricing, commercial negotiations, and contract strategies for major international client engagements.

Business Development & Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with central bank governors, treasury officials, banking executives, government decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Expand and strengthen relationships with existing clients while driving new business opportunities across global markets.
  • Lead commercial efforts related to large-scale currency modernization programs, banknote supply agreements, and strategic financial services partnerships.
  • Drive cross-selling and client penetration strategies across Numisma Bank's full suite of banking, currency, and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to effectively engage with clients, customers, and stakeholders across diverse geographic regions.

Strategic Partnerships, Innovation & Organizational Leadership

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and market expansion opportunities that accelerate growth and strengthen competitive advantage, including evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments aligned with the Bank's long-term objectives.
  • Represent Numisma Bank at industry forums, conferences, governmental meetings, and international financial events.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, Treasury, and Innovation teams to bring new solutions to market — including next-generation currency technologies, authentication and security features, and digital currency initiatives — and provide market intelligence and customer insights that guide product development and investment decisions.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global revenue organization focused on growth, accountability, and client success, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence across all commercial functions.
  • Establish performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and forecasting models to drive disciplined execution and transparency.
  • Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and the Bank's risk management standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree in Sales preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue generation, business development, commercial banking, financial services, fintech, payments, currency management, or related industries.
  • Significant experience leading global sales and revenue organizations with direct accountability for large-scale growth initiatives and P&L outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing international growth strategies within highly regulated environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working across multiple geographic markets and navigating diverse regulatory and cultural environments.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury services, payments, liquidity management, foreign exchange, or currency distribution markets.

Leadership Competencies

  • Exceptional executive presence and credibility with senior government officials, banking executives, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
