About givestar
givestar is building the next generation of charitable giving. Our platform is designed to make fundraising more social, engaging and rewarding for the people raising money, the charities they support, and the events that bring them together.
While many of the world's established fundraising platforms were built more than two decades ago, givestar was created around how people use technology today: mobile-first, connected and community-driven.
And we're well beyond the idea stage.
givestar has already helped raise around $70m for charity, built a community of approximately 750,000 users, and works with major charities and fundraising events. With around 10,000 new users joining each week, the foundations are in place for the next stage of growth.
Following a $12m Series A, we're now moving from startup to scale-up. We're investing across our leadership, product, engineering and commercial teams, while accelerating our expansion into the US.
About the role
givestar has built strong commercial momentum through an entrepreneurial, founder-led approach. Following our latest funding round, the next phase is about building on what works while bringing in the structure, focus and leadership needed as we grow.
We're looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to lead that transition. You'll help build a more mature and predictable revenue organisation, with clear ownership across new business, customer growth, partnerships and demand generation.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set the commercial direction and build the team and ways of working around it, while staying close to our biggest opportunities and working closely with the founders and leadership team.
What you'll be doing
Revenue strategy & ownership
- Own givestar's revenue plan and delivery against commercial targets.
- Build a clear, bottom-up growth plan across markets, products and channels.
- Create clear ownership and accountability for commercial performance.
- Identify gaps in performance early and make sure they're addressed.
- Bring greater predictability to how givestar plans and delivers revenue growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience scaling a revenue function in a high-growth technology business at a comparable stage.
- Experience helping a commercial organisation move from a relatively founder-led approach to one with greater structure, ownership and predictability.
- Experience working through the journey from Series A towards Series B and an understanding of how a revenue organisation needs to develop as a business grows.
- A track record of owning and delivering ambitious revenue targets across both new business and existing customers.
- Experience hiring, coaching and developing commercial teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting, pipeline management and commercial performance.
- The ability to think strategically while still getting involved in major deals and problems when needed.
- Experience working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where processes are still developing and not every answer is obvious.
- A collaborative and accountable approach, with experience working closely with active founders.

Why givestar?
givestar is at a really interesting point in its growth. There's already a product in market, a large and growing community using it, and plenty still to build.
For our Chief Revenue Officer, this is an opportunity to build on what's already working and shape the revenue organisation for the next stage. You'll work closely with the founders and leadership team, help shape how we grow across the UK and US, and build a commercial function that can develop with the business.
If you're looking for a CRO role where you can combine commercial strategy with hands-on leadership and play an important part in givestar's next stage of growth, we'd love to hear from you.
