The Opportunity

Northoaks is partnering with a fast-growing £1Bn+ revenue business based in the United Kingdom, to appoint a Chief Revenue Officer. This is an Executive Committee seat with ownership of Sales, Marketing, Strategic Partnerships, and Growth Optimisation. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the board and shareholders.

You will turn the business's growth ambitions into a clear commercial plan: winning new customers, retaining and growing existing ones, and making sure revenue converts into profit, cash and long-term shareholder value through a driven team of over 100 people.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deliver an integrated revenue strategy, prioritising segments, markets and routes to market by profitability and risk.
  • Lead direct sales, indirect sales, brokers and strategic accounts, improving productivity, pipeline quality and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with the CFO on liquidity, collateral, credit and counterparty exposure.
  • Set the strategy for new business, renewals, cross-selling and account development.
  • Sharpen the market proposition and tie marketing investment to measurable returns.
  • Own the sales forecast and ensure Sales, Pricing and Trading operate within clear margin, credit and risk parameters.
  • Partner with the CEO and CFO to assess investment opportunities and build commercially robust business cases.
  • Develop channel strategies that balance scale, acquisition cost, margin and customer quality.
  • Align incentives with profitable, sustainable business, supported by appropriate quality measures.
  • Build senior relationships with major customers, brokers and partners, supporting significant negotiations and opportunities.

What You'll Bring

  • Executive-level experience leading substantial revenue growth in a complex B2B organisation.
  • A proven record of improving profitability alongside revenue.
  • Experience leading multiple sales channels, partnerships and retention activity
  • Strong financial grounding: pricing, contribution, acquisition economics, credit exposure, collateral and cash conversion.
  • Experience scaling commercial teams, processes and systems through significant growth
  • Credibility with the CEO, Board and executive peers, with the ability to offer constructive challenge.
  • Understanding of international markets and how to adapt commercial strategy.
  • Likely background as a CEO, CRO, CCO, SVP Sales or equivalent in a high-growth, £billion-plus business.
