Chief Revenue Officer

Location: Remote / Hybrid (UK Registry Base)

Model: Venture Track / Ownership-Led

Position Overview

Stride Insights is seeking a high-net-worth stakeholder to step into the founding role of Chief Revenue Officer (Sales Manager). Operating under an innovative Ownership-Led model, you will initially invest your elite commercial expertise to build an architectural, predictable lead generation engine from scratch.

Time Commitment: Minimum of 24 hours per week

Equity & Revenue Share

  • Equity Stake: Up to 8% equity allocation vested across performance milestones.
  • Commission: 8% direct commission on Total Revenue generated from newly signed client accounts. Plus 3% commission on any sales from your SDR’s.

Remuneration Structure

  • Phase 1 (Venture Track): Performance milestone equity vestings plus 8% revenue commission on closed deals (no initial base salary).
  • Phase 2 (Stability-First): Executive salary introduction upon 6 months of sustained profitability and a 6-month cash runway, alongside dividend participation.

  • Direct B2B Sales & Closing: Hands-on, client-facing sales hunter role focused on securing enterprise advisory partnerships (£5m–£25m turnover bracket) within a 6-month closing cycle.
  • GTM & Pipeline Architecture: Formulate and execute the Sales & Marketing Strategy and build an automated CRM inbound/outbound pipeline.
  • Sales Pod Leadership: Recruit, coach, and performance-manage freelance commission only SDRs and closers. The SDR's will receive 5% commission on sales and the CRO will get 3% commission on any sales made by the SDR’s.

Required Profile & Technical Literacy

  • The Blueprint: A pure growth strategist with strong experience in managing 6 monthly life cycles of similar, client facing skills and the ability to manage objections confidently.
  • Technical Fluency: Must possess the distinct ability to "speak technical engineer" fluently to steer corporate roadmaps while clearly translating workflow fixes into strategic revenue levers for C-suite clients.
  • Team Management: Ability to manage a team of freelance salespeople to ensure targets are met.
  • Client Facing: Meet with clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges, analyse these needs to design robust and scalable solutions. Develop and present proposals and demonstrations to clients when required.
  • Time Commitment: Commitment threshold is a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Objection Handling: Experience in objection handling, especially in technical and complex B2B sales environments, requiring deep product expertise, system knowledge, and strategic thinking to address client concerns effectively.
  • Infrastructure: Expected to use your own laptop / phone and have a stable Broadband connection.
