Astute’s Renewables Team is exclusively partnering with a leading international renewable energy technology business to recruit a Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for its UK headquarters in Cheshire.
This strategically important executive position offers a salary between £130,000- £150,000 and benefits package, alongside the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the next stage of international growth for a fast expanding clean energy organisation.

Responsibilities and duties of the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer role
Reporting Directly To The Group CEO, You Will
- Develop and deliver a global sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable business growth.
- Lead Country General Managers and Sales Directors across international markets to maximise commercial performance.
- Oversee digital marketing, brand development, and demand generation initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing international sales and marketing teams.
- Identify new market opportunities through market and competitor analysis.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver commercial objectives.
- Track sales and marketing performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage commercial and marketing budgets effectively.
- Manage the marketing function, ensuring campaigns align with commercial objectives.
- Grow revenue through distributor, reseller, and installer partner networks.

Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Proven senior sales and marketing leadership
- Strong knowledge of international distribution networks, indirect sales channels, and partner-led growth.
- Experience delivering commercial and digital marketing strategies.
- Technical understanding of electrical, renewable energy, or energy storage products.
- International market experience across regions such as Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, or Australasia.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Experience working within high-growth or rapidly scaling businesses.
- Proficient in CRM systems, commercial reporting, and performance analysis.
