A Chief Software Architect is required by a FinTech-focused AI engineering consultancy to design and deliver enterprise solutions built on Anthropic’s Claude technologies.
You will be responsible for:
- Architecting and designing Claude-based enterprise solutions using a wide range of Claude tools, from integration layers and agentic orchestration to the harnesses that take AI from prototype to production.
- Leading the design and delivery of scalable, secure, serverless FinTech platforms for enterprise clients.
- Modernising software development by overhauling legacy codebases and introducing AI-assisted, Claude-powered engineering, supported by the controls and practices needed to keep it safe and compliant at scale.
- Setting governance and standards by defining the architectural principles, security controls and responsible AI frameworks needed to deploy AI in regulated environments.
- Advising senior stakeholders and shaping bespoke solutions that deliver measurable business value, from initial pre-sales conversations through to delivery.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams while remaining hands-on throughout large transformation programmes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
