Responsibilities
Primary Role Overview
We seek a visionary Regional Chief Strategic Architect to serve as Workato’s technical authority and strategic advisor across critical prospects, customers, and the broader market within an assigned region. This position combines:
- Technical credibility (building trust with customers)
- Executive influence (assisting Workato’s executive team)
- Market thought leadership (shaping how Workato is perceived in the field)
This is not a sales role. It’s strategic, hybrid operator-advisor-influencer with two core priorities:
- Build technical trust across the customer lifecycle (engagement to expansion)
- Shape the market’s understanding of enterprise integration, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation
Influencing outcomes like:
- Deal ROIs
- Product direction
- Industry perception (establishing Workato as a leader in Enterprise Orchestration)
First 90 Days
Learn & Align (Days 0-30)
- Deep immersion into:
- Workato’s AI vision
- Product roadmap
- Go-to-market (GTM) strategy
- Shadow at least 10 executive-level customer conversations
- Formulate initial perspective for engaging with:
- CIOs
- CTOs
- CDOs (Chief Data Officers)
Engage & Formulate (Days 30-60)
- Lead strategic engagements with:
- Enterprise accounts
- Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to:
- Co-develop executive playbooks
- Establish feedback mechanisms with:
- Product teams
- Engineering teams
Influence & Scale (Days 60-90)
- Build relationships with C-level executives (5+ strategic accounts)
- Co-create AI-driven integration use cases with customers
- Develop thought leadership presence via:
- Content (blogs, white papers)
- Speaking opportunities
