About the Role
The Chief Strategy Officer will own Group strategy and major strategic initiatives across ActAI and its portfolio of businesses. The role will identify where the group should compete, invest and expand, and turn those decisions into executable plans. The role will also own group-level positioning and communications around major corporate developments.
What you will be doing
- Develop Group strategy across existing businesses, new products, and markets.
- Evaluate new businesses, markets, competitors, and industry shifts and recommend where the Group should invest.
- Build business cases and financial models for new opportunities and major strategic decisions.
- Lead strategic initiatives including market entry, partnerships, investments, and M&A where relevant.
- Track competitive developments and identify risks and opportunities across the Group.
- Own Group positioning, corporate narratives, and communications around major company developments.
- Work with business leaders to translate strategy into specific priorities, investments, and execution plans.

What you will need

- Strong strategy experience in a technology company, high-growth startup, strategy, consulting investment environment, or your own startup.
- Experience developing and executing strategies with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial judgment with the ability to evaluate markets, businesses, and investments.
- Strong analytical capability and ability to build business cases and financial models directly.
- Excellent written communication and ability to turn complex business topics into clear narratives.
- Experience with corporate development, investments, M&A, or corporate communications is useful.
- Hands-on operating style - able to research, analyze, write, and drive strategic work personally.
