QLM Technology Leadership Opportunity

QLM Technology is scaling and we are looking for a new leader for the technical side of our business.

This role will sit alongside the CEO and lead everything from R&D and Product Development through to Production, Data and Customer Support. Leading a team of 13+ specialist in Photonics, this role will set the technology roadmap enabling the business to scale its manufacturing capability in line with demand.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong background leading complex manufacturing operations.
  • Experienced in the commercial and strategic side of business and ensuring the tech aligns with the business goals.
  • Ideally have worked in a large global operation and know what best in class looks like, but also have experience of a smaller growing manufacturing business.
  • You should have an MSc/PhD in Engineering/Physics or related technical field.
  • Being based close to Bristol and be willing to travel to our manufacturing sites in Paignton and Cardiff.
