Chief Technology Officer - B2B SaaS - AI & Product Innovation

Upwards of £160,000 + EMI Equity
Hybrid London

We're working on a CTO opportunity with a high-growth B2B SaaS business entering its next phase of scale and product innovation.

This is not a traditional CTO role where you simply inherit an engineering function and keep things moving.

You’ll have a genuine seat at the table, working directly with the CEO, board and shareholders to shape the technology strategy and determine where the business goes next.

What makes this role different?

AI is central to the role. We’re looking for someone who has actually delivered AI in practice – not someone who simply understands the technology or has AI on their CV.

You’ll need experience across both sides of AI:

  • Using AI and agentic development methodologies to make engineering teams faster, more effective and innovative.
  • Building AI capabilities directly into a customer-facing SaaS product, creating genuine value for users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
