Our client is a leading UK business group embarking on a major programme of Digital Transformation and Legacy Modernisation. They are looking for an exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead it.
This is an opportunity to make a real impact. The CTO will inherit an established technology function but with a clear mandate for change: accelerate delivery, modernise legacy technology, sharpen prioritisation and create a Technology Strategy that enables the organisation to move faster.

A key focus will be Legacy Modernisation, balancing the replacement of ageing systems with the continued development of strategically important platforms. You'll also drive Digital Transformation across the wider organisation, using AI and automation to replace manual processes and significantly improve operational efficiency.
We're looking for a Chief Technology Officer with a proven record of leading Digital Transformation, Legacy Modernisation and complex technology change. You'll be an outstanding technology leader who can bring pace, structure and delivery discipline to multidisciplinary teams.

You'll have broad knowledge across Microsoft technologies, cloud, software development, Agile, DevOps, data, infrastructure and cyber security, together with the credibility to influence at Executive and Board level.
This isn't a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. It's an opportunity for a transformational CTO to shape Technology Strategy, accelerate Digital Transformation, deliver Legacy Modernisation and turn AI and automation into genuine business value.
Salary:
Up to £110K basic + bonus + benefits
Location:
2-3 days in the office (Tunbridge Wells and occasionally London) + 2-3 days working from home
