Overview
Walker Morris is a law firm with a clear strategy, strong momentum, and the confidence to keep moving forward. We've built a reputation for delivering exceptional client service while remaining agile, entrepreneurial, and future-focused. As we continue to grow, we're investing in the technology, innovation, and digital capabilities that will help shape the next chapter of our success.
This is a rare opportunity to join our leadership team as Chief Technology Officer and play a central role in that journey. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner and working closely with the Board and partners, you'll help define how technology, data, and AI support our strategic ambitions, strengthen our competitive position, and enhance the experience we deliver to clients and our people.
For technology leaders, this is a rare opportunity to combine genuine visibility, influence, and pace. As a single-site firm, decisions can be made quickly, relationships are built face-to-face, and initiatives can move from idea to implementation without the complexity often found in larger multi-office organizations. You'll have the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work across the firm and help shape decisions at the highest level.
If you're looking for a role where you can move beyond operational leadership and play an active part in the future direction of a successful and ambitious law firm, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
