Chief Technology and Operations Officer - UK, Remote with EU Travel

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for driving technical and operational excellence? This role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Dahlia Recruitment - Renewables are partnered with this exciting and growing Renewable Investment company to recruit for an experienced CTO. As the Chief Technical and Operational Officer (CTOO), you will be at the forefront of managing and optimising the technical and operational aspects of biogas assets across UK and EU, steering the company towards continued growth and innovation. This is a remote UK based role but will require frequent EU travel so you must be flexible.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical and operational supervision of all biogas assets within the Group.
  • Provide technical and operational oversight for potential acquisitions analysed by the Group.
  • Manage relationships with management teams within the Group, focusing on operational, technical, and Health & Safety (H&S) aspects.
  • Assist with capital raises from a technical and operational perspective, including both equity and debt.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior technical and operational role within the Biogas sector manging assets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of biogas technology and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in capital raising, including equity and debt, from a technical and operational standpoint.
  • A background in Health & Safety management
  • Additional skills and experience in strategic planning, project management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement cutting-edge technology and drive innovation within the industry.
