The Opportunity

A senior technology leader for Mphasis across the European insurance portfolio (P&C, Specialty, Brokerage, Lloyd’s). You act as the trusted advisor to CTOs and Chief Architects, driving modernization, cloud, AI/GenAI, data, and security strategy. The role requires strong transatlantic fluency to align UK/EU clients with US buying centres while running the Account Technology Office (ATO) and partnering with the NA Insurance CTO to present one unified technology leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Trusted Advisor Relationships

  • Lead technology strategy for P&C, Specialty, Lloyd’s syndicates, managing agents, and brokers across Europe.
  • Build deep knowledge of core systems, specialty platforms, brokerage stacks, and Lloyd’s infrastructure (PPL, DCOM, Crystal).
  • Advise on modernization (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, SSP, Sequel, Xuber), cloud, AI/GenAI, analytics, cybersecurity, and regulatory change.
  • Engage with CTO, CIO, Chief Architect, CISO, and CDO communities.
  • Navigate French regulatory expectations (ACPR) and cultural dynamics.
  • Represent Mphasis at architecture forums and Lloyd’s Market councils.

Transatlantic Client Coverage

  • Shape engagement models for UK-headquartered clients with leadership in North America.
  • Ensure architecture consistency and unified commercial narrative with NA Insurance CTO.
  • Align solutions to UK/EU and US regulatory regimes (FCA/PRA, ACPR, Solvency II, NAIC, SEC).
  • Support joint pursuits and maintain visibility of technology investment decisions across UK, Ireland, and NA.

Account Technology Office (ATO)

  • Establish and run the ATO: governance, operating rhythm, stakeholder model, and decision frameworks.
  • Drive architecture reviews, standards, delivery health checks, and roadmap alignment.
  • Maintain client-specific technology roadmaps and produce executive briefings.
  • Use the ATO to align architects, client teams, and account leadership around shared transformation goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
