Closrr.io is an AI-powered sales coaching platform that helps revenue teams practice real-world deals, ramp faster, and continuously improve performance. Using realistic AI prospects, live deal scenarios, and instant coaching feedback, Closrr enables sales professionals to rehearse critical conversations and build confidence before high-stakes customer interactions.
Why We're Hiring, and the Picture
Closrr has real customers, an enterprise procurement process underway, and a working product built at unusual speed: the founders ship UI visually through Lovable while a small technical layer built the backend, security architecture, AI infrastructure, and CI by hand. That trade was deliberate, and it worked — but it has a ceiling, and we have reached it.
This brief describes what exists today: the architecture, the parts that are genuinely strong, and the debt we know about. We would rather you arrive knowing both.
What We Need a CTO to Own
The Frontend Needs an Architecture
64k lines of largely machine-authored React: components north of 2,000 lines, React Query adopted in a quarter of the data layer with raw client calls elsewhere, no code splitting. Devising a consolidation strategy that doesn't freeze product velocity is the defining technical challenge.
Quality Infrastructure
Test coverage sits around 5% and no frontend CI exists — lint, typecheck, build, and tests never run automatically. The eval suite proves the team can build serious verification; it needs extending to the app itself, and the scorer gates need real SME gold labels to arm.

Plans are assigned sales-led; there is no payment rail. Self-serve billing (the Stripe integration paths are already reserved in CODEOWNERS) is an unbuilt system with the entitlement layer beneath it already in place.
Infrastructure Ownership
Backend deployment is solid; frontend hosting is mid-migration off Lovable with the destination undecided. The Call Connector product line — dialer, telephony, lead routing — is stubbed and waiting for its architecture.
The Team is the Job
One person currently gates every protected path — a bus factor of one, by necessity, not design. The CTO hires and shapes the founding engineering team, and puts the (genuinely good) documentation on a maintenance cadence so it stops drifting behind the code.
What We Are Looking For (Has to be UK)
A hands-on technical leader who reads this document and sees leverage: a real product with real users, an AI and security foundation stronger than the company's stage would suggest, and a frontend, quality, and monetization story waiting to be built properly. You would own architecture end to end, keep the two-lane delivery model honest, build the engineering team from one, and take an AI product that already answers enterprise procurement questionnaires to enterprise scale.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret product data, diagnose technical issues, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with co-founders, engage with customers, align engineering and go-to-market teams, and articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Sales-related skills, such as understanding modern B2B sales processes, sales enablement workflows, and the needs of revenue teams using coaching tools.
- Marketing awareness, including familiarity with product positioning, messaging, and how technical capabilities can support differentiation and growth.
- Research skills to evaluate AI/ML approaches, assess emerging technologies, and validate product hypotheses with market and user insights.
- Proven experience as a technical leader (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Principal Engineer, or similar) in SaaS or AI-driven products.
- Hands-on expertise with modern web application development, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and scalable system design.
- Practical experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks
