Chief Technology Officer

Location: London, hybrid 2 days per week in the office

Salary: £145,000 + 30% Bonus

Revoco is proud to be partnering with a global marketing technology business, backed by a highly experienced team spanning media strategy, planning, data science, qualitative research, software development and data engineering.

They are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead their engineering function through its next phase of growth. You’ll inherit a mature cloud-native platform, a strong engineering team and a business with ambitious plans around AI and product development.

This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role. You’ll shape the technology strategy while remaining close to the engineering team, architecture and technical decision making. You’ll also help define how software is built in an increasingly AI-native environment.

The Role

  • Define and lead the technology strategy, aligning engineering with wider business and product objectives.
  • Lead, mentor and scale a high-performing engineering team of around 10 people.
  • Remain close to architecture, technical decisions and engineering practices, providing hands-on technical leadership where required.
  • Work closely with Product and Data Science to bring new products, AI capabilities and customer requirements to life.
  • Strengthen the full SDLC, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, quality and DevOps.
  • Help shape how AI is adopted across engineering, using agentic development tools to improve velocity without compromising quality, security or maintainability.
  • Act as a technical figurehead across the business, communicating effectively with senior stakeholders, clients and the board.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
