Childcare Apprenticeship - Job Ref: Cedars C26

Early Years Apprentice.
Location
Cedars Day Nursery | Leighton Buzzard| LU7 2PA.
Contract
- 37.5 hours/week
- 52 weeks/year
Working pattern
Varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:30-18:30.
Start date window
December 17th – January 21st
Salary
- £8.00 per hour to start
- Rising to £10.41 per hour after six months in post
- Further increase to £12.74 per hour after 12 months in post if aged 21 or over

About You
- Passionate about building a career with children.
- Keen to learn and engage in practical tasks.
- Nurturing, empathetic, and prioritizes safety.
- Able to manage time effectively.
- Collaborative with strong communication skills.
What does our apprenticeship offer you?
- A blend of practical experience and underpinning theory.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification.
- English and/or maths Functional Skills qualifications.
- A paediatric first aid qualification.

Eligibility criteria
- Documentation to evidence Right to Work in the UK and your National Insurance Number.
- Photographic ID (valid passport or driving licence).
- Access to a computer.
- Residence in the UK for at least the last three years.
- Comfortable travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
