Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for learning about early years? This nursery, Little Learners Day Nursery, is looking for someone to join their friendly team.
Your role will be supporting children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. You will also be a key person to a small group of children, making learning fun and liaising closely with parents/carers.
Requirements
- GCSE in English (grade 4)
- GCSE in Maths (grade 4)
- Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience.
Responsibilities
- To act as a key person to a group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met
- To work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members
- To advise the manager of any concerns e.g. health and well-being of children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary
- To teach children, offering an appropriate level of teaching and stimulating play experiences
- To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures
- To actively participate at team meetings, supervision meetings and appraisal meetings
- To attend training courses as required and to take responsibility for personal development

About Little Learners Day Nursery
Little Learners Day Nursery first opened in 1991 and had a change of ownership in 2002. This branch cares for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. The detached building has its own parking at the front for parents to drop off and collect their child.
About NORTH WALES TRAINING LTD.
- Course contents include safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessment, communication, developing professional relationships, key person responsibilities, attachment theories, personal care, SEND and EAL support, communication development, identity and culture, emotional regulation, environmental assessment, inclusive environments, change and transition management, and observation analysis.
