Childcare Solicitor - Warwickshire
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a highly regarded legal team in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for public childcare law to handle a varied and rewarding caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will advise on complex and sensitive matters, playing an important role in achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a varied caseload of public childcare matters, including care proceedings, adoption matters, and associated applications.
- Advising clients on safeguarding, child protection, and statutory responsibilities.
- Preparing legal documents, court applications, witness statements, and reports.
- Attending court hearings, legal planning meetings, and case conferences.
- Undertaking advocacy where appropriate and instructing Counsel when required.
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially minded legal advice on complex matters.

About You
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, and Barristers who have:

- Strong experience in public childcare law.
- Excellent knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and public law proceedings.
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload while delivering a high standard of client care.
