Childcare Solicitor | Coventry

An established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Childcare Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team in Coventry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in childcare law to join a supportive team and take responsibility for a varied caseload of public and private children matters.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a caseload of childcare and family law matters.
- Advising and representing parents and other parties in care proceedings.
- Preparing statements, applications, orders, and other court documentation.
- Attending Family Court hearings and undertaking advocacy where appropriate.
- Liaising with local authorities, Cafcass, counsel, experts, and other professionals.
- Providing high-quality, practical advice and maintaining excellent client care.
- Managing deadlines and ensuring files are progressed efficiently.

About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with:
- Previous experience in childcare and family law.
- A strong understanding of public law children proceedings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- A professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
