An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the firm in a role which combines high-quality legal work with team leadership.
The Role
- Manage a reduced caseload of public law children matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Conduct your own advocacy in the Family Court.
- Supervise, mentor and support a team of lawyers across several locations.
- Carry out file reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures.
- Assist with case allocation, performance management, budgeting and wider departmental projects.
- Work closely with senior leadership to help drive the continued success of the team.

About You
- Qualified Solicitor or FCILEX with significant experience in public law children work (typically 8+ years' PQE).
- Strong experience in public law children matters either in private practice or local authority.
- Demonstrable advocacy experience in childcare proceedings.
- Proven expertise advising parents, guardians or other parties in care proceedings.
- Previous supervisory or team management experience would be advantageous.
- Children Panel membership is desirable but not essential.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
